Prachanda accuses US of preparing for war, strengthening ties with India

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused the United States of America of preparing for a new war.

In the 45-page political dossier submitted in the closed session of the Eighth General Convention of the party, Prachanda has alleged that America has invested a huge amount of money and allocated military budget to maintain its monopoly in multi-national companies including Microsoft Corporation, Automatic Equipment, airplanes through the military power.

“America has already established its military networks in 70 countries across the world. To fulfil its vested-interest of imperialism, it has been intentionally selling weapons to escalate racial conflicts, violent classes and local wars,” reads the dossier.

Commenting on the current international circumstances, Prachanda, in the document, has alleged that America has established military partnerships with the United Kingdom (UK), Australia and India to check emerging power China in the Indo Pacific Region. America is establishing friendly ties with India under this strategy, writes Prachanda.

A statement recently issued by the US Department of Defence has corroborated the fact that it is making preparation for the new war by reviving the cold war waged against Russia and China before, reads the dossier.

The political document has categorically stated that the Department of Defense has directed to further cooperation with the military allies in the Indo Pacific Region.

It cannot be denied that the new scenario developed in the form of cold war will not give birth to a new war to prop up the capitalism and imperialism, said Prachanda.

Various 25 groups have been formed to dwell on the political dossier presented by Prachanda.
